Inferno was supposed to be an expansion to fix FW and High sec war mechanics. I think that what they have implented so far is pretty poor.

Yes it was. If you were making ISK via war decks before Incarna then you should be able to make ISK now. Adapt.

On a serious note, It's probably harder to get contracts with the mass of corps doing the "0 ISK Defender" route. Oh well.

Then sign on as a non paid defender, build a a portfolio of successful defense campaigns, and then start charging for it. It's not rocket science but you will have to be good at it... Edit: Forgot to end my post with "Adapt" :)
One does not simply "build" a portfolio. Also I see you haven't experienced a wardec under the new mechanics, may I suggest wardec'ing someone and let us know how it works out for you.

I think that the agressor should be able to call ONE ally for every TWO allies the defender calls. This would IMO, solve many of the problems.
Will you bring this up with the CSM, and CCP? It would seem that CCP has not really thought this one out too much.

Clearly its unfair that you cant just go and **** some mining corp with them being forced to switch corps for the duration of the war. I mean its totally unfair that they might ask for help and get it.
